Montblanc and Ferrari present a new creation that fuses their worlds, the Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Classica Special Edition. This launch marks the beginning of a trilogy centered on personalization, an essential feature of Ferrari’s philosophy, and on self-expression through writing, one of Montblanc’s core pillars.
The collaboration between both brands began in 2021 with the Great Characters Enzo Ferrari collection, dedicated to the founder of the Scuderia. Later, in 2023, the Stilema SP3 model arrived, inspired by the Ferrari Daytona SP3, and in 2025 the two companies come together once again to pay tribute to the artisanal tradition they share.
The inspiration for this edition comes from the Ferrari Tailor Made program, which offers owners of the Italian brand the possibility to personalize their vehicle to reflect their style and preferences. Within this program there are three design worlds: Classica, Inedita, and Scuderia. This first edition focuses on the Classica universe, which evokes the GT models from the 1950s and 1960s.
The Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Classica combines two icons of functional elegance: the Montblanc Meisterstück pen, created in 1924, and Ferrari’s GT sports cars, symbols of Italian engineering. Its design features a mahogany inlay with a black lacquer stripe, platinum-coated details inspired by classic automotive chrome finishes, and a grille motif evoking the metal spokes of vintage steering wheels.
The “Cavallino Rampante,” Ferrari’s emblem, is integrated into the body of the pen, while the Montblanc logo, rendered in yellow, pays tribute to Modena, the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari. The nib, handcrafted from solid Au750 gold, is decorated with an engraving that symbolizes the union between both houses and their dedication to precision.
Montblanc and Ferrari share a vision rooted in innovation, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Both brands aim to create objects that transcend functionality, becoming pieces that tell a story and reflect the identity of their owners.
The Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Classica Special Edition will be available as a fountain pen and rollerball starting in October 2025 in selected Montblanc and Ferrari boutiques, as well as on the Maison’s official website.
