Porsche and Smeg have unveiled a collaboration that brings together automotive design and the domestic environment in a limited-edition capsule collection. The partnership between both companies draws on iconic elements from Porsche’s heritage and integrates them into some of Smeg’s most recognizable appliances, strengthening the connection between engineering, aesthetics, and lifestyle. The collection includes special editions of the FAB28 refrigerator, a bean-to-cup coffee machine, and small appliances reimagined under a unified visual identity.
The collection pays tribute to the historic Porsche 917 KH, the vehicle that achieved the brand’s first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1970. This reference is embodied in the Salzburg red, the most representative color of that victory, featured in a limited edition of the refrigerator and the coffee machine, both produced in 1,970 numbered units. These pieces are conceived not only as functional products but also as collectible objects aimed at design enthusiasts and automotive aficionados.
In addition to this line, the collaboration expands with two further ranges that reinterpret characteristic Porsche colors: Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic. These tones are adapted to Smeg’s distinctive aesthetic, incorporating details such as matte black elements, subtle lines, and clean, sculptural surfaces.

Both companies emphasize that the project stems from a shared vision based on quality and the desire to create products that establish an emotional connection with the user. According to Stefan Büscher, CEO of Porsche Lifestyle Group, the collaboration is driven by the ambition to develop pieces that combine functionality with aesthetic impact. For his part, Vittorio Bertazzoni, President of Smeg, explains that the partnership has made it possible to explore new possibilities in home design, integrating elements from the automotive world into everyday appliances.

The collection includes some of Smeg’s most recognizable products, such as the toaster, kettle, and blender, which retain their signature design while incorporating finishes inspired by Porsche. These editions aim to strengthen the connection between lifestyle and design, bringing automotive references into everyday kitchen appliances.
With this collaboration, Porsche and Smeg present a different approach to the relationship between brand, home, and daily experience. Colors, lines, and visual elements drawn from the automotive world are integrated into appliances that combine aesthetics and functionality. In this way, both companies introduce a narrative built on heritage, precision, and attention to detail, while maintaining their distinctive identities in a collection that unites tradition and innovation within a single concept.
