Bombardier Global 6500, the executive jet that redefines comfort

The Bombardier Global 6500 is a long-range business jet designed to offer a balance of performance, comfort, and technology. With a maximum range of 6,600 nautical miles, it can operate nonstop intercontinental routes such as New York–London or London–Singapore, positioning itself among the most competitive options in its segment.

The model features Rolls-Royce Pearl 15 engines capable of delivering 15,125 lbf of thrust, enabling a maximum speed of Mach 0.90 and improved efficiency in fuel consumption and emissions. Its operational capabilities include a maximum altitude of 51,000 ft and a takeoff distance of 6,145 ft, allowing it to operate at demanding airports thanks to the Smooth Flĕx Wing design, engineered to reduce turbulence and enhance performance on wet or short runways.

Inside, the Global 6500 can accommodate up to 17 passengers, distributed across a cabin that stands out for its generous dimensions: 1.88 m in height, 2.41 m in width, and 13.18 m of usable length. The cabin has been designed as a versatile and quiet environment, offering several differentiated areas such as the Club Suite, the Conference Suite, and the Private Suite — the latter located in the calmest part of the aircraft, featuring an optional en-suite shower and direct access to the baggage compartment during flight.

Comfort is enhanced by the Nuage seating collection, which includes the Nuage Seat, the first “zero-gravity” seat in executive aviation, as well as the Nuage Chaise and the Nuage Cube, all designed to offer multiple configurations and superior ergonomics. On-board well-being is further elevated by the Bombardier Pũr Air system, featuring hospital-grade HEPA filters capable of capturing up to 99.99% of particles, and by the Soleil circadian lighting, engineered to reduce jet lag on long-haul flights.

In terms of entertainment, the Global 6500 offers a true 4K experience, featuring 24-inch displays and the immersive Bombardier l’Opéra surround-sound system, along with high-speed connectivity and full integration with personal devices. In the cockpit, the Bombardier Vision Flight Deck includes advanced systems such as HUD, EVS, SVS, and the optional Combined Vision System, which enhances situational awareness during complex operations.

A standout feature of the Bombardier Global 6500 is its advanced Bombardier Pũr Air system, designed to maximize well-being on board. This system combines fresh-air intake with a hospital-grade HEPA filter, capable of capturing up to 99.99% of particles, including bacteria, viruses, and allergens, ensuring a cleaner environment throughout the flight.

In addition, the Pũr Air technology heats and cools the cabin twice as fast as conventional systems, better preserves humidity levels, and helps reduce dryness and respiratory discomfort on long-haul journeys. All of this is complemented by the Soleil circadian lighting system, which works in tandem to minimize the effects of jet lag and enhance the sense of rest on board.
